1870 Federal Census - Agricultural Schedules

1870 FEDERAL CENSUS-AGRICULTURAL SCHEDULES

Fosters Meadow German Farmers

For the 1870 census, the Census Bureau required enumerators to ask farmers over fifty additional questions about their farms, crops, livestock and farming operations. The following pages represent an extract of that information for the German farmers in the Fosters Meadow area and paints a vivid picture of each farm.
